Scissor-tailed Flycatcher

Sandy Point State Reservation
Ipswich, MA
August 09, 2010

Found by Siobhan Basile on July 22, it's taken 5 visits to get a decent look (I've seen it on 4 out of 5 tries) at this apparent
female Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.

A brief video of the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher

I thought the flycatcher was expelling a pellet but on closer examination they were berries.
Maybe it was making room for the bugs it was catching? It did this 3x during my brief visit.
It can be seen expelling one in the video above as well.

Another short video of the Flycatcher.
