Turkey Vulture Nest
Downfall WMA, Newbury, MA

Eric Norgaard came across this Turkey Vulture nest while
out Turkey hunting recently and reported it to Steve Grinley at
Bird Watcher's Supply & Gift in Newburyport. Steve called and asked if I
would be interested in viewing the nest
along with Margo Goetschkes and Eric, needless to say I said yes...:)

 The granite outcropping the Vulture chose to nest in. |
 She sat tight as we moved quite slowly about the area |
 It looks like she's well protected in this location. |
